HI there! My name is Kris Smith, I'm an illustrator from Canada and this is my very first "thing" here on Newgrounds!

I honestly did not know that Newgrounds had begun allowing illustration posts at some point, I always saw it as an animation hub (but I'm extremely out of the loop, lol) and had been told to give it a whirl!

I'm a lapsed Newgrounds user, been a long time since I used to use it regularly but wow, was I glued to this place when it first opened up around the turn of the century (uggg, I'm old as hell now, lol), lots of flash cartoons and stuff I first saw here before the days of YouTube and social media.

Funny enough I'll feel a lot at home since my artwork is actually done in Adobe Flash (been using it for artwork since it was Macromedia, to age myself further, lol) because I really love the animation look I get from it. I have a heavy focus on doing character design art based on all the stuff I grew up on in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's. Basically a lot of fun nostalgia stuff, lol.

So yeah, sorry for the ramble, I'll be posting art soon!
